When we landed in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria on Monday evening, we were met with rain, which, as a native at the bus stop told us, only comes once a year. We were there to prove it exists!

At school on Tuesday a symbolic sign greeted us “Welcome” in Arabic. Coincidence?

On Tuesday morning, we started our planning for the three-year project and introduced the ideas of the German side, i.e. board games or art events and supplemented them with the Hungarian and Spanish perspectives, such as the participation of all the exchange pupils in a “Run for Integration” on Gran Canaria or a “Poetry Slam” in Hungary. We will stage a contest for the best logo for this project in all of the participating countries.

In the course of two more work days we planned the first meeting, which will take place at the end of January on Gran Canaria. It was determined that all communications of the project participants, the documentation of the project progress, a profile of all the participants and, of course, numerous pictures will take place, and be published, through eTwinning.

The schedule and the time goals of the project were coordinated in collaboration with the German, Hungarian and Spanish coordinators.
